Daikin sets up Rs 160 cr plant at Rajasthan
Neemrana, Rajasthan Jul 9 (UNI) Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt Ltd (DAIL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan's largest air-conditioner maker Daikin Industries Ltd, today set up a plant here with an investment of Rs 160 crore.
The plant, which will start operating by September next year, has the annual production capacity of 20,000 variable refrigant volume units (VRVU) and 1,800 chiller units.
''With this factory going onstream, Daikin projects sales in excess of the 1,100 crore in FY10,'' DAIL MD Toshiki Hayashi told reporters here.
