BEML secures major equipment orders from Indonesia

Bangalore, July 9 (UNI) BEML, a leading Mining and Construction Equipment Manufacturer has bagged export orders for supply of 93 equipment valued at Rs 158 Crore consisting of Hydraulic Excavators, Rear Dump Trucks and Bull Dozers from Pt. Fajar Bumi Sakti of Indonesia.

A Pilot Batch of eight equipment have been deployed at KPC Mines, one of the world's largest open cast coalmines in Indonesia.

Additional supplies of equipment would be deployed at KPC Mines, Tengarong Mines and Tabang Mines ofIndonesia.

BEML has also bagged another order from M/s Far East Resources and Mining Co Pte Ltd, Singapore for supply of 34 equipment valued Rs 49 Crore for their coal mines at Tarakon, Indonesia.

BEML plans to establish a Sales Office cum Repair Facility and Spares Depot at Balikpapan in Indonesia in three months to provide 24x7 after sales support to its customers and to maximize the order booking.

BEML has Order Book of Rs 4000 Crore and with the expected orders in the pipe line, soon the Order Book will cross Rs 5000 Crore. BEML plans to achieve a sale of Rs 3600 Crore in the fiscal year.
