3 killed, 1 injured in van-truck collision
Nashik, Jul 9 (UNI) Three persons were killed and one sustained injuries in a collision between Maruti Omni van and truck near Old Adgaon Naka on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway number three here today.
The deceased have been identified as Samadhan Gaware (40), Suneeta Gaware (35), both residents of Kautikpada and Sahebrao Shewale (42) resident of Dabhadi. All of them from Malegaon taluka.
The victims were on their way to Nashik from Dhule in the ill-fated van, when the truck coming from the opposite direction collided with it. Two of them died on the spot whereas, one died at the hospital. The injured has been admitted to District Civil Hospital here.
The truck-driver is absconding. Panchavati police is investigating the case.
