Indian's can't live in isolation, says Lalu
New Delhi, Jul 8: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad on Tuesday, July 8 asserted that the UPA government had more than enough numbers in the Lok Sabha to prove its majority on floor of the house.
Allaying any threat to the government after the Left parties decided to withdraw their support from it, Mr Yadav, also the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief, claimed that nothing was hidden as far as the nuclear deal was concerned. ''We had shown everything to the Left parties. The deal is important for the country in national interests and not concerned only with the US...we can't live in isolation,'' he underlined.
The Left parties decision to withdraw support tantamounted to cutting the branch they were sitting upon, he remarked.
