Tiger bones, deer horns seized in Gurgaon
Chandigarh, July 8 (UNI) Bones of tigers and horns of deers were recovered from a house in Surat Nagar colony of Gurgaon here.
An official spokesman today said on the basis of a tip-off, a team of Central Wildlife Crime Bureau raided the house of Bhima and Hazari late last evening. The team sought help from the local police in conducting the raid during which bones of tiger and horns of deer were recovered.
However, the accused managed to escape, he added.
An FIR has been registered against them in Rajendra Park police station under sections 9, 39, 40 and 51 of Wildlife Protection Act.
