McConaughey, Brazilian partner welcome baby boy

Washington, July 8 : Hollywood hunk Matthew McConaughey and his model girlfriend Camila Alves have become proud parents of a baby boy.

The 'Fool's Gold' star and his Brazilian partner welcomed their first child on Monday evening.

The name of the baby boy has not yet been confirmed.

"A healthy baby boy was born. Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world - having a child and making a family," Contactmusic quoted McConaughey, as telling OK! Magazine.

He added: "Now comes the greatest adventure - raising one, together."

The 38-year-old confirmed Alves' pregnancy in a post on his website in January, writing: "My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together."
