Manik Sarkar blames PM and Congress for present crisis
Agartala, Jul 8(UNI) CPI(M) Polit Bureau member and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar blamed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Congress for the present political crisis which have compelled the Left Front to withdraw their support from the UPA government.
Talking to newspersons here today, Mr Sarkar alleged that the Prime Minister and his party made ''mischief'' with the UPA partner, and described his reaction on the Indo-US nuclear deal outside the country as improper.
He, however, informed that the Left Parties would meet President Prtibha Patil tomorrow regarding their stand.
'' We shall lodge nationwide agitation against the nuke deal, price rise and non-compliance of other issues as slated in the Common Minimum Programme from July 14,'' Mr Sarkar pointed out.
He criticised the Congress and alleged that the goverment did not consider the problems of common people.
'' The Left Front would not tolerate these any more,'' he warned.
