HSBC launches 'HSBC Direct for Business'

Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd today announced the official launch of its product for small business--'HSBC Direct for Business'.

Announcing the launch of the product, Bank's Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking said the product will enable its existing and potential customers, especially SMEs, an online banking service facility.

He said that with quick and convenient banking, these enterprises can focus on their core business and there is no restrictions on the type or size of business that can open an HSBC Direct for Business account.

This product has been launched in India after a successful response in UK and Ireland. The bank is planning to launch it at three more places apart from India by the end of this fiscal, Group Genral Manager and Global Co-Head Commercial banking Margaret Leung said.
