CLP and APCC mourns death of Congress leader
Hyderabad, Jul 8 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislature Party (CLP) and Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today expressed grief over the death of Congress MLA and former minister Chanumolu Venkat Rao in the city.
In a condolence message here, State Finance Minister K Rosaiah said the Congress in the State had lost a sincere and dedicated leader, who protected the political values. His death was an irreparable loss to the party in the State, he added.
Mr Rosaiah expressed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
APCC spokesperson Paladugu Venkata Rao in his condolence message said Mr Rao had strived to strengthen the party in Krishna District.
The State had lost a great leader, who always fought for the welfare of the poor, downtrodden and toiling masses in the State, he added.
