BJP not interested in toppling game: Shripad

Panaji, Jul 8 (UNI) BJP was not at all interested in playing any game as the government would collapse on its own, BJP state president Shripad Naik said today while commenting on pooh-poohing Congress allegation that BJP was indulging in the ''toppling game''.

Interacting with media persons here, Mr Naik urged Chief Minister Digambar Kamat to resign owning moral responsibility for the communal riots in his own Margao constituency.

He also denied GPCC president' Francisco Sardinha's oblique reference to BJP that it was fomenting communal tension in Margao along with other religious fundamentalists.

Mr Naik said it was Mr Kamat who pampered the communal elements those recently arrested in connection with the seizure of 17 swords from an abandoned truck.

The BJP was confident of winning over the electorate to come back to power in the next hustings, he added.
