Two killed, four injured in road accident

Davanagere, July 7 (UNI) Two people, including a truck driver from Maharashtra, were killed on the spot and four others seriously injured when two trucks collided head-on near Anagodu village on the National Highways-4, about 20 km from here, today.

Police said the mishap occurred when one truck was coming to the city while another was proceeding to Bangalore from Maharashtra.

The deceased were identified as Balu (30), Hanumantappa (45).

The injured were admitted to District Hospital.
