Tata Sumo runs over three persons, one killed

Muktsar, Jul 7 (UNI) A speeding Tata Sumo ran over three persons , killing one of them and injuring the other two near Paniwala village in the district this evening, police here stated.

The victims were standing on the roadside when they were run over by the vehicle which seemed to be out of control. While Balwinder Singh died on the spot, Harbinder Singh and his son Navdeep Singh sustained injuries.

The injured were admitted to the civil hospital here. A case has been registered against the Tata Sumo driver, who is absconding.
