Petrol bunks in Bidar remain closed demanding ST reduction

Bidar, Karnataka, Jul 7 (UNI) Vehicle owners faced hardship as petrol bunks in this district remained closed today in response to a bandh call by the District Petrol Dealers Association, demanding that the Karnataka Government reduce Sales Tax (ST) on petroleum products.

As many as 30 petrol bunks, 11 in the town and 19 in the rural areas were shut.

Association members, led by their President B L Sindal, took out a procession in the town and submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister, to the Deputy Commissioner.
