Newly-wedded couples will get motorcycle

Sagar, MP, July 7 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Gopal Bhargava has announced that a motorcycle would be gifted to every couple from his assembly segment that is getting married during the mass marriage function on December 1.

About 700 couples tied the knot at Gadhakota in Sagar district yesterday under the supervision of Mr Bhargava.

Apart from the amount approved under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, domestic use items and gifts were given to the newly-wedded couples by Mr Bhargava himself.

So far, Mr Bhargava has got more than 3,000 couples from his assembly segment Rahli Gadhakota wedded under this scheme.

He said he has set a target to get 2,000 couples married during December.
