'Kabul explosions targeted against Afghan visa seekers': Jaswant
New Delhi, Jul 7 (UNI) Stating that the suicide attacks in Afghanistan have become a routine matter, the BJP today said the government of India was totally immobile when it comes to face both internal and external attacks.
Reacting to the suicide car bomb attack near the Indian Embassy in Kabul this morning killing 41 people and leaving 140 others injured, senior BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh said the attack had occurred when hundreds of Afghans were queuing the Indian embassy for obtaining visas. In the wake of intimidatory attacks against Indian citizens, it has become a matter of mounting concern that the government of India was totally immobile both in thought and action against facing such challenges be it internal or external attacks, he said.
Routine statements of concern and condolences by the Prime Minister would be a meaningless exercise and the government must explain its policy in full to the satisfation of the citizens, Mr Singh said in a statement.
