Pilgrims from Pakistan arrive in Ajmer for urs

Jaipur, Jul 6 (UNI) A delegation of zayreens (pilgrims) from Pakistan arrived here today to participate in the 796th urs of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti at the durgah sharif.

The delegation comprising about 500 pilgrims reached here via Delhi by the Shatabdi Express this afternoon.

Meanwhile, pilgrims from different parts of country continued to throng the durgah to pay obeisance at the memorial of the sufi saint. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has also sent chadar which will be offered at the holy tomb tomorrow.
