Haryana govt begins computer project in schools
Chandigarh, Jul 6 (UNI) The Haryana government has initiated a Comprehensive Computer Education Project in the senior secondary schools to provide new employment avenues to the youth.
Under the project, it is envisaged to design the curriculum on the basis of the need of the industries right from the school level so as to enable students to acquire skills for higher studies and get gainful employment.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the education department said that expression of interest had been invited from companies/joint venture firms/consortium/partnership firm/organisation for appointment as a curriculum design agency for the project.
