20 labourers injured in road accident
Singur, Jul 06 (UNI) At least 20 migrant labourers of the Tata small car project ancillary industries were injured, six of them critically, when their bus collided with a stationary lorry on Durgapur Expressway (NH two) here today.
Singur police station Officer Incharge Priyabrata Bakshi said the injured were rushed to the Singur Rural and Srerampore Hospitals where the condition of six of them was stated to be critical.
The bus and the lorry were seized. However, the bus driver managed to flee, the OC added.
