Two youths drown

Puducherry, July 5 (UNI) Two ninth standard students of a school drowned in the Ariyankuppam river at Ariyankuppam this afternoon.

According to police Ashok and Balraj, both 13, used to fish using hooks and crabs as bait and by entering into the water.

Today when they were engaged in fishing they were washed away in high tide.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem.
