Ten unemployed youth arrested for throwing pamphlets on CJI
Gulbarga, Jul 5 (UNI) Ten Members of SC, ST and Unemployed Engineers Association were arrested for throwing pamphlets on Chief Justice of India Justice K G Balakrishnan during a function organised for inauguration of the Karnataka High Court Circuit Bench here today.
Police said the agitators, demanding filling up of block log vacancies, threw the pamphlets from the first floor of the new building as the Chief Justice, High Court Chief Justice Cyraic Joseph and Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa along with other dignitaries, were walking down to inaugurate the Bench in the newly constructed building.
The agitators had been demanding the state government to fill up the block log posts.
