Jharsuguda Chamber of Commerce president arrested
Sambalpur, July 5 (UNI) Jharsuguda Chamber of Commerce's president Manjit Singh was arrested for alleged misbehaving with a police officer on duty.
Police said Singh was arrested, along with three others, from a hotel on the basis of a complaint filed by its owner, after an unpleasant incident took place inside the bar late last night, involving some youths.
Jharsuguda Inspector in-charge C M Nayak said Singh had tried to pressurise the police to release the boys without bail and allegedly misbehaved with an officer on being refused.
The president was booked under u/s 448, 294, 353 and 186 of IPC, he added.
