Hooda to lay base stone of projects worth Rs 27 crore

Chandigarh, Jul 5 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will lay the foundation stone of projects, worth Rs 27 crore, in Mahendergarh district tomorrow and inaugurate projects worth Rs eight crore.

An official spokesman said the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone of Industrial Training Institute to be constructed over an area of 10 acres at a cost of Rs 5.25 crore at Maldawas village in the district.

He would lay the foundation stone of Water Works which would be constructed in the same village at a cost of Rs 3. 07 crore.

The Water Works would provide systematic drinking water supply to the villages of Malda, Jaat, Bawana, Dholi, Lavan and Agihar.

The spokesman said that the foundation stone of two-way Railway Over Bridge, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 22 crore near Riwasa village, would also be laid by the Chief Minister.

Later, the Chief Minister would address a public meeting at ITI ground. He would inaugurate a 33 KV sub-station built at a cost of over Rs 2.29 crore at Sehlang through remote control from the rally site. This sub-station would supply power to five nearby villages of Sehlang village.

The Chief Minister would inaugurate Water Works of Sehlang from the rally site which was built at a cost of over Rs 2.58 crore. The capacity of this water works would be 3.25 lakh litre and water supply to Sehlang and Basai villages would be provided from this water works.
