Groundnutseed, its oil and RBD Palm oil decline

Mumbai, July 5 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed, its oil and RBD palmolein eased on heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil segment (per ten kgs), groundnut oil and sunflower exp were down by Rs 5 per ten kgs each, while refined palm oil fell by Re 1 to end at Rs 582.00.

Linseed and rapeseed exp moved up by Rs 5 and Rs 2 per ten kgs respectively.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed, javas 80/90, castorseed witnessed a downward trend.

Groundnutseed and javas 80/90 slipped by Rs 25 per quintal on sluggish demand by stockists, traders said.

Castorseed Hyderabad, sunflowerseed and kardiseed remained unchanged on moderate demand by stockists.

In De-oiled cakes, barring sunflower extr, all deoiled cakes remained steady.

Sunflower extr rose by Rs 100 per quintal on speculative buying by stockists, traders added.
