230 people admitted to hospitals for rain-related ailments
Mumbai, Jul 5 (UNI) As many as 230 people, suffering from various rain-related ailments, have been admitted to civic-run hospitals in the city and suburbs in the last 24 hours.
According to civic officials, of the 230, 127 have been admitted for fever, 59 for gastroenteritis, six for leptospirosis, five for dengue and 33 for malaria.
At least, 38 people have so far lost their lives due to rain-related ailments, since the onset of monsoon this year.
