Woman complaints against parents harassment

Rajkot, July 4 (UNI) A woman has lodged police complaint against her parents for harassing her by threatening to commit suicide and forcing her to take divorce from her husband.

According to police, the complainant Jayamala yesterday, also sought police protection for her husband Dilawarsinh Jadeja, as she fears life threat for him from her parents.

According to the complaint, Jaymala had married Dilawarsinh in 2007 in Morbi town, against the wishes of her parents. However, a few months ago, both the families had compromised and approved their marriage. But her parents later started harassing her by threatening to commit suicide and started forcing her take a divorce.
