Vishwendra Singh appointed as Raje's Political Advisor

Jaipur, Jul 4 (UNI) Sitting BJP MP and scion of the Bharatpur royal family Vishwendra Singh has been appointed as made Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's Political Advisor.

The announcement to this effect was made by Ms Raje herself during a chat with mediapersons at the Raj Bhawan here today.

Mr Singh would be accorded the status of a Cabinet Minister, official sources said.

BJP spokesman and former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy has hailed the state government's decision and said Mr Singh's appointment would benefit both the ruling party and the state government.
