Diamond industry going through difficult times

Gujarat, July 4, 2008 : The diamond industry of Gujarat these days is facing a global crisis.

The sky rocketing prices of the raw diamonds and the recent recession in American economy have forced thousand of workers to shift to other money generating business. This slowdown in the global market has made more than 4000 big and small diamond factories to struggle to survive in the market.
