Fire destroys 15 houses in Dimapur

Kohima, July 4 (UNI) At least 15 thatched houses were gutted in the Burma Camp area of Dimapur town, when a fire broke out last night, police said today.

The fire broke out from a thatched house, which immediately engulfed other houses in the row.

Six fire tenders arrived at the spot, but due to bottleneck of the road, the fire-engines could not be taken at the site delaying the dousing over three hours.

There had been no casualty.
