Dist admn plans to start IAS training academy
Tiruchirapalli, Jul 4 (UNI) The Tiruchirapalli district administration is planning to start an IAS training academy for training the eligible aspirants through modernised and sophisticated way, official sources told UNI here today.
The adminstration had proposed to mobilse fund from philanthropists and it would be utilised for the uniterupted functioning of the proposed academy, sources added.
It had also proposed to buy 20 computers, laser printers, copiers and other acedemic materials meant for the training, the sources said.
In order to secure jobs abroad for the job aspirants, efforts were on to impart coaching in foreign languages to the needy persons.
A core committee consisting of people from various walks of life, including academicians, industrialists, retired civil service persons, philanthropists and educational experts had beeen formed and the proposed academy was already registered under the Societies Act, the sources said.
