CPI(ML) demands resignation of Pondy CM

Puducherry, July 4 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today demanded the resignation of Chief Minister N Rangasamy, alleging that his government had lost ''credibility'' following ''tussle'' between the Chief Minister and the ministers.

In a statement here, CPI(ML) state Secretary S Balasubramanian alleged that the Chief Minister had lost faith of his Cabinet colleagues and party Legislators, leading to an ''administrative crisis.'' Poor people were becoming the scape goats of the ''Chief Minister-Ministers tussle'' as the government was not implementing any welfare schemes due to the 'administrative crisis,' which was also allowing the Union Territory to become the den of anti-social elements and rowdies, he claimed.
