Miscreants loot Rs 10 lakh from house
Nashik, Jul 3 (UNI) Miscreants looted Rs 10 lakh from a locked house in Nashik Road suburb of the city.
The robbers broke into one Raj Khimani's residence at Ganesh Pride Society of Anandnagar on Tuesday night and stole valuables.
Yesterday, when one of their employees came to office, which is adjacent to the house, he found its door open.
He informed Mr Khimani about the house-breaking as the family was in Mumbai for medical treatment of Mr Raj's father.
The family then came to Nashik and lodged the complaint with police.
The thieves stole 600 gm gold ornaments worth Rs 6 lakh, diamond ornaments, 12 kg silver ornaments and vessels worth Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 1,58,000 cash from the house.
The accused entered the house by cutting the iron bars of a window. The house was closed since June 23.
