Lake levels show steady increase
Mumbai, Jul 3 (UNI) The water level of lakes supplying water to the city is steadily increasing, with the city and suburbs receiving heavy rains for the last few days.
According to civic officials, the water level in the lakes has increased considerably, thereby reducing the fear of further water cut in the city.
The metropolis is facing a 15 per cent water cut since July 1, following the dry spell in last quarter of June, and will remain in place till the water level increases above the reserve level.
