Govt gearing up to make alternative arrangements

Hyderabad, Jul 3 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government swung into action to make alternative arrangements to transport essential commodities as the truckers strike entered the second day today.

State Transport Minister K Laxminarayna, who reviewed the situation, asked the officials concerned to press the state owned RTC buses into service to transport goods to various regions. The goods vehicles carrying loads were permitted to reach the destination in the capital city at any time.
