Cisco launh Zero per cent finance to SMBs
Bangalore, Jul 3: Cisco, the world leader in networking for internet, today announced the launch of Zero per cent Financing for 'Cisco Multi-year Services Programme' in India to help Small and Medium Business (SMBs) units to meet their rising demand for technology.
The programme provides an interest-free financing package for multi-year contracts for Technical services, SMARTnet and Advanced Services programmes.The programme in A-PAC countries like China, Hong Kong, Korea besides India, would help SMBs looking for better technology to improve their business agility, operating efficiency and staff productivity, G S Kumar, Senior Vice President (Customer Advocacy) Cisco India and SAARC said.
Speaking to reporters, he said as part of the company's commitment to SMB market, Cisco Services strives to bring SMBs sophisticated services and solutions that have long been only affordable by larger enterprises.
"With introduction of these competitive offerings, we expect to see considerable growth in the SMB market," he said.
The zero per cent finance is being extended by Cisco's fully owned subsidiary Cisco Capital.
Cisco Capital vice-president India and SAARC, Gautam Munish, said most SMBs had realised that technology was critical to enhance their competitiveness in the market, but termed it as an expense that puts pressure on their cash flow.
"The Zero per cent Financing has been specially designed and introduced for SMBs to help them deal with this dilemma," he added.
