Amalapuram devotee donates golden conch to Tirumala temple

Tirumala, Jul 3 (UNI) A Srivari devotee from Amalapuram in East Godavari district has donated Rs ten lakh worth golden conch to the famous Lord Venkateswara temple here.

The devotee, Yerrapragada Srinivas Sankaranarayana, handed over the golden conch, weighing 634 gm, to Temple Special Officer Dharma Reddy yesterday.

The conch would be used while performing Tirumanjanam (Abhishekam) to the Lord daily.
