Tinsel world heroes to form third front in TN: Karthik

Madurai, Jul 2 (UNI) Fledgling political parties launched by tinsel world stars in Tamil Nadu are likely to form a ''third front'' in the state to fight the coming Parliament elections.

Talking with newspersons here today, popular Tamil actor and founder-President of All India Parliamentary People's Party (AIPPP) M Karthik said a third front in Tamil Nadu was ''inevitable.'' He said the All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISMK) of actor- politician R Sarath Kumar and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) launched by Vijayakanth, besides his own party, would form the third front. ''I will soon meet Mr Vijayakanth and Mr Sarath Kumar to hold talks with them in connection with forming a third front,'' he added.

Mr Karthik, who was recently expelled from the All India Forward Bloc, launched the new party.
