Teacher beaten up for misbehaving with girls

Kolhapur, Jul 2 (UNI) A school teacher, who had allegedly shot objectionable photographs of two girl students, was beaten up in the powerloom town of Ichalkaranji in this district today.

The 26-year-old teacher, Imran Maula Kalawant, was stripped off his clothes, colours were smeared on him and he was paraded through the town astride a donkey after forcing him to wear a garland of slippers.

Kalawant had allegedly called two girls from the school to a lodge and had shot objectionable photographs using his mobile phone camera.

The teacher had later circulated the photographs among his friends.

The mischief was discovered and Kalawant was picked up by the people today. He was beaten up before being handed over to the police.
