SP tells Muslims to beware of BSP conspiracy
Lucknow, July 2 (UNI) Samajwadi Party has asked the Muslim community in Uttar Pradesh to beware of the conspiracy hatched by the Bahujan Samaj Party to create differences between the community and Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Senior party leader and leader of the opposition in the state legislative council Ahmed Hassan alleged that Mayawati was making all efforts to confuse the muslim community by saying that SP was supporting the nuclear deal which is anti-muslim.
'' Mr Yadav is yet to take decision on the deal and will certainly make his decision in context with the national interest,'' he claimed.
Talking to reporters here tonight, Mr Hassan stressed that there is a secret pact between the BSP and BJP.
'' How could the muslim forget the dias shared by Mayawati and Lal Krishna Advani in Lucknow during her last regime and after she campaigned for Narendra Modi in Gujarat,'', he said.
Mr Hassan said in the present BSP regime, there is not a single district magistrate or Superintendent of Police of the muslim community while no grant has been provided by the Mayawati government to any madarsas of the state.
The SP leader said the party is yet to decide on the nuclear deal but still the BSP was targetting the Muslims for its vote-bank politics.
He also made critical remark on the meeting of several muslim cleric with Mayawati here today.'' These cleric did not go there on their own, but they were forced to meet the CM, he commented.
