Servant arrested in doctor murder case

Patna, Jul 2 (UNI) Police today arrested the servant of the neuro surgeon Dr Ajay Kumar Sinha in connection with the latter's murder at Danapur yesterday.

Additional Superintendent of Police Nishant Tiwary told newspersons here that the servant Mantu was arrested from his native place under Ramdayalu police station in Muzaffarpur district.

'' Mantu has confessed his involvement in the crime, '' he claimed.

'' Mobile phone, clothes and other valuables of the slain doctor were recovered from the possession of Mantu, '' he said adding a cricket bat, allegedly used in the killing of the doctor, was also recovered from the spot.

Dr Sinha was killed at his residence at Khagaul in Danapur sub-division of the Patna district yesterday.
