Conf on 'Opns Research for Growing Nation' from Dec 15

Tirupati, Jul 2: A three-day international conference on the theme 'Operations Research for a Growing Nation' will begin in the temple town from Dec 15.

The prestigious event, jointly organised by the Dravidian University, Kuppam, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), Tirupati, Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Kurnool, and University of Hyderabad would run concurrent with the 41st annual convention of the Operations Research Society of India (ORSI), SVU Vice-Chancellor C Ratnam said here yesterday.

Topics such as optimization, quality management, multi-criteria decision making, reliability, algorithms, information and communication technologies would be discussed during the event, he added.
