Nepal: 42 Tibetans held near Friendship Bridge
Lisakot &Daklang / Chaku, July 2, 2008 : Following two months protest in Nepal by exiled Tibetan groups went on a peace march from Nepal to Tibet, the Nepal Police arrested 42 Tibetans near Friendship Bridge, the only international gateway to Tibet.
The two separate groups left Kathmandu on June 25 and June 26 to protest the cause of Free Tibet. Monk Tenzing Zaffranki had earlier said that it would be a peaceful protest march.
