Yeddyurappa blames Opposition parties on development issues
Bangalore, Jul 1 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today alleged that the Opposition Congress and JD(S) were trying to politicise and adopting non-cooperation attitude towards the issues relating to the development of state.
Reacting sharply to the decision taken by both the Congress and JD(S) not to accompany the state joint delegation being led by him to meet the Prime Minister tomorrow on fertilizer shortage issue, he said both the Opposition parties were trying to politicise the issue.
He said the delegation would also request the Prime Minister to confer classical language status to the Kannada and special status to most Backward regions in the state to remove regional imbalance.
