Uma slams Advani for misusing public fund on book release
Bhopal, July 1 (UNI) Bharatiya Janashakti President Uma Bharti today charged that public money was misused for the release of Bharatiya Janata Party leader L K Advani's book 'Mera Desh Mera Jeevan' here yesterday.
Ms Bharti, who observed a day-long fast here to protest 'rampant corruption' in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, told newspersons that crores of rupees was spent for the function while the state was reeling under drought, acute power crisis and the impact of unprecedented price-hike.
She also questioned giving clean chit to Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta Justice Ripusudan Dayal by the police for alleged irregularities in the purchase of a house in the city.
In second phase of the agitation against corruption, she said, BJ workers would stage protest on the streets to expose the BJP government.
