Razi assumes additional charge of Orissa Governor
Bhubaneswar, Jul 1 (UNI) Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi today assumed the additional charge of Orissa in place of Mr M C Bhandare, who went on a 23-day tour of US and Canada.
Orissa High Court's acting Chief Justice I M Kudusi administered the oath of office to Mr Razi at a brief function held inside the Raj Bhawan here today.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, his cabinet colleagues, leader of opposition J B Patnaik, chief secretary Ajit Kumar Tripathy and other senior officers of the state government were present at the function.
