Rains continue for second consecutive day

Nashik, July 1 (UNI) Rains continued to lash the city and other parts of the district for the second consecutive day today.

Several suburbs of the city, including Nashik Road, Satpur Ambad Cidco areas, while Igatpuri, Dinduri, Peth, Trimbakeshwar and Niphad taluka of the district received good rains, while Chandwad, Surgana, Sinnar and Yeola talukas got light showers.

The taluka wise rain in the district today is as follows: Nashik - 44.0 mm, Igatpuri - 9.8 mm, Dindori - 31.0 mm, Peth - 42.0 mm, Trimbakeshwar - 52.0 mm, Chandwad - 15.0 mm, Kalwan - 1.0 mm, Surgana - 10.0 mm, Deola - 1.0 mm, Niphad - 31.0 mm, Sinnar -14.2 mm, Yeola - 9.2 mm. Total - 348.4 mm.

The taluka wise rain since June 1 is as follows: Nashik - 75.0 mm, Igatpuri - 478.0 mm, Dindori - 48.00 mm, Peth - 186.0 mm, Trimbakeshwar - 181.0 mm, Malegoan - 29.0 mm, Nandgoan - 31.0 mm, Chandwad - 92.0 mm, Kalwan - 2 mm, Baglan - 1.0 mm, Surgana - 78.0 mm, Deola - 4.0 mm, Niphad - 44 mm, Sinnar - 29.2 mm, Yeola - 19.2 mm.
