Neuro Surgeon Ajay Kumar Sinha murdered

Patna, Jul 01 (UNI) Noted neuro surgeon Dr Ajay Kumar Sinha was killed at his residence in Danapur late last night.

According to police, the criminals killed the doctor by leathal weapon in his bed room.

The domestic help of the slain doctor was absconding after the killing.

Dr Sujata Rai, wife of the deceased doctor, was posted at Danapur railway hospital.

One of his close relatives Dr Ramsagar Singh was national executive member of the doctors' cell of the BJP and an incharge of the doctors' cell of the party both in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, Additional Police Superintendent Nishant Tiwari told UNI here that prima facie it appeared that domestic helper Mantoo probably committed the crime.

He said the body had some injury marks and seemed he was suffocated to death through pillow.

He said the criminals were familiar to the residence of Dr Sinha. Except a wardrobe, all the belongings of the house and the bed room were intact, he informed.
