Maintain calm, exhibit traditional amity, Charak to Jammuites
Srinagar, Jul 1 (UNI) Lauding the role of Jammuites, exhibited by them time and again to maintain communal harmony, mutual brotherhood and peace, Minister for Higher Education Gulchain Singh Charak has appealed to them not to fall prey to the designs of communal and anti peace elements.
Reminding the people of Jammu of their stupendous role played during the turmoil and receiving the migrants with an open heart, he said the traditional amity and broad mindedness of Jammuites has to be strengthened and carried forward.
In a message to the people of Jammu, Mr Charak appealed them to restore normalcy and not to get misled by vested interests who want to create disturbance and destroy the peace and tranquility.
He said the yatra was going on peacefully and about four lakh yatries have visited the holy cave and performed darshan till date.
He said that government was committed to ensure all facilities to yatries for peaceful and secure darshan of Shri Amarnathji at holy cave.
