Its peoples victory, resume normal activities: ACALT

Srinagar, Jul 1 (UNI) Asking people to resume normal activities, the Action Committee Against Land Transfer (ACALT), heading the agitation against the transfer of forest land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB), said cancellation of land order by the cabinet was people's victory.

We have examined the cabinet order and the land diversion to SASB order has been cancelled,'' advocate Mian Abdul Qayoum, who heads the committee told reporters here this evening.

He thanked the people for supporting the ACALT against the government land order.

It is totally people's victory and now they should celebrate it.
