Gadkari criticises Centre's decision on Amarnath shrine
Kolhapur, Jul 1 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today criticised the Central Government's decision to withdraw the allotted land to Amarnath shrine trust in Jammu.
Addressing a news conference here, Mr Gadkari alleged that the Congress-led UPA Government took the decision with a view to appease members of the Muslim community.
Referring to the election results of Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation in which the ruling Congress lost power, the BJP leader alleged that it was an indicator of anti-Congress wave in the state.
He said the trend will continue in next year's Lok Sabha and state assembly elections as well, as the people are disappointed with the Congress rule.
