Hyderabad, Jul 1 (UNI) The capsized boat and four bodies of the drowned Greyhound anti naxal force out of 37, were traced in Balimela- Sileru reservoir at Andhra-Orissa Border (AOB) today where the Maoists attacked the boat carrying 64 jawans on June 29 even as Andhra Pradesh government announced a high-level departmental inquiry into the Maoist attack on policemen.

Police sources said the capsized and broken mechanised boat was traced in the reserviour. The rescue teams were making efforts to retrieve the boat from the deep waters. Police suspect that the missing anti naxal force personnel might have been trapped under the capsized boat. Thirty three were still missing.

Six choppers from Navy and ONGC, marine Commandoes and 13 divers were scouring the reservoir to trace the men of the elite commando force who went missing after naxals attacked them with grenades and fired at them indiscriminately when they were returning in a motor boat from Janabai after a combing operation.

Meanwhile, eight anti naxal force personnel, who were injured in the attack, underwent surgeries at a corporate hospital in Visakhapatnam where their condition was reported to be out of danger.
